Plywood / Hardwood / Pine Timber Stacking Sticks

Pine Grade 1 Kiln Dried or Engineered Kiln Stacking Sticks.

Picture
Typical stick lengths are 4ft, 6ft, 7ft, and 8ft, with variations to lengths, thickness and width based on customer specifications. If the customer wants the stick long enough to fit into the channel iron stick guides to insure proper stick alignment, then the sticks may need to be two inches longer than the pack width. Keep in mind the sticks ends will protrude and the lift operator may damage the ends of the sticks by bumping them when handling the pack. The design of stackers varies with practically every operation so the length may vary a few inches for each customer. The same is true for the thickness.

If the customer wants a lot of air-flow between the lumber layers a thicker stick such as a 1" X 1" X ?' may be desired. If more kiln capacity is desired and air-flow is not as critical, usually a 7/8" or 3/4" X 1 1/4" X ?' is desired.  To improve drying quality and lumber uniformity after drying, always use uniform thickness sticks and cross-pieces. Customers who have used our uniform sticks and cross-pieces say they have improved yield by 12% in some applications which require extremely straight lumber.

Any dry sticks have to be quoted at the time of shipment due to changing prices and availability of dry lumber.

All prices are subject to change based on prices and availability of lumber

We can arrange shipping all over the U.S. or the customer can arrange trucking.

We can S2S sticks to any size and cut to any length.  All of our sticks are made of Hard-Hardwoods, Plywood or Grade 1 Pine.
